Diggin drops you onto a grid of solid, undug earth as a small blue digger with one job: tunnel through it before the red diggers tunnel through you. Every tile you move into gets carved out and turns from packed dirt into open tunnel, and your score climbs with every tile you clear.
The catch is that the tunnels you dig aren't just your escape routes — they're the same paths the red enemy diggers use to close in on you. Early levels give you a single enemy and a mostly untouched grid to work with, but by level 3 you'll have two of them converging from different directions through the tunnels you've already carved, so the maze you're building doubles as the maze they're hunting you through.
A row of life dots in the top corner tracks how many hits you can take before it's game over, and the run ends with a full recap screen showing your final score, plus options to share it, copy a link, jump straight into another run, or head back to the menu.
